NITYAM Foundation
NITYAM is committed to building the capacity of the poor and vulnerable sections of society to claim their rights effectively and independently using technology adoption and still connected to Indian heritage and adapting best practices from ancient India. The interventions of NITYAM extend from building the capacities of partner communities in central India to empowering the youth and women by training, self-help groups, lobbying, and networking at national and international levels for their cause. NITYAM achieves its goals by partnering with several external, satellite organizations. Through several advocacy campaigns in print, social media, and door-to-door outreach, the organization also aims to influence the policy matters affecting the national, regional, and international community, and thus indirectly extends its outreach to a larger number of people for adaption of the best practices from ancient India and rich culture of Indian society. NITYAM consists of a multi-disciplinary team, and vital community leaders work with members from all walks of life, some of which professions include social work, education, research, judicial, activism, and media. Lastly, we are guided by our core values which include human dignity, community self-reliance, equity, gender equality, democracy, welfare, and accountability.
